$25 and Under
Shooting Targets
If there’s one thing a gun lover can always use more of it’s ammo and shooting targets ($10).
Since you might not know what caliber they are shooting (or if you do click here), you can’t go wrong with targets that easily show where you’ve shot them.
Tactical Stocking
A little lols for the holiday…although I do *hat-tip* the person who first thought of tactical stockings ($18). Multicam all the way for me.
Real Bullet Cufflinks
I gave bullet cufflinks ($15-25) to my groomsmen as part of their gift box. Guaranteed to get lots of remarks at the next social event.
There’s a couple variations but unless your gun lover has really large wrists, I would stay away from shotgun shell (12 gauge) cufflinks.
Ammo Cans
Everyone can use more ammo cans to hold small accessories and…ammo.
I like the size of the .50 Caliber ($21) ammo can shown above. But you can also opt for the smaller .30 Caliber ($19) can too.
There’s some genuine used ones out there but I’ve found those are a crapshoot…you might end up with a smelly rusty one.
Blowout Kit
Hopefully something that is never used…but it’s always good to have a blowout/trauma kit ($19) in your range bag. Has “Quikclot” to aid in blood clotting and comes in a small sealable bag.
Tactical Ugly Sweaters
I’m totally getting this AR-15 sweater ($20) if there’s an ugly sweater event. Make sure to read the reviews since it seems some “sweaters” are more like t-shirt material.

Electronic Earmuffs
If you’ve ever been to the range with normal earmuffs or those pesky foam things…you know it’s hard to hear other people talking.
“HUH?!?” you loudly scream?
These electronic earmuffs ($39) amplify normal sounds while still cutting off gunshots. There’s a reason it’s 10k+ reviews with 4.5 stars.
Tactical Flashlight
I’ve bought so many of these Fenix tactical flashlights ($30) for use on my rifles, by my nightstand, in my car bags, and for gifts.
They are bright enough, waterproof, able to take lots of abuse, tiny, and take 1 AAA battery.
Cleaning Kit
My go-to cleaning kit ($38) with my favorite cleaner and oil combination. Suitable for a wide range of guns.
The soft-sided pouch also makes it easy to pack it up for the range.
Accurizing Torque Wrench
If you know your buddy is more hands on with his guns, this torque wrench ($50) will enable them to mount scopes and other accessories at the correct poundage to maximize accuracy. A must have for any serious precision shooter or builder.

Everyday Carry Knife
Even if your buddy isn’t into the EDC scene…he’ll love this Delica 4 knife ($60)
I went with this after researching a ton and watching this video. Great blade and super easy to open with a flick of your fingers and wrist.
Take my word for it.
Gun Bag and Shooting Mat
This combo range bag and shooting mat ($56) is what I use to carry my rifles to the range. And then plop onto for those long range precision shots.
I like how it has shoulder straps plus places for putting notes on your shooting holds.
Tactical Flashlight
The bigger bro ($72) of the previous Fenix flashlight. This is what I have in my pack when I go camping or other stuff when I know I’ll need a flashlight.
Multitool
Leatherman’s best selling multitool ($99) and what I have in my range bag. Enough said.
$100+ Gifts
Tactical Watches
The Suunto Core (Black on Black) ($199) came highly recommended and it’s what I’ve worn for the past three years.
I love the look and the measurements it can take (altimeter, barometer, compass, temperature). Downside is that the black on black can sometimes be hard to read and I’ve had to replace the battery every year.
Or for something less tactical…the Casio PRW-3000 ($180)
Weapons Flashlight
The Streamlight TLR-1 ($125) is my go-to flashlight to put on my pistols.
Bright, robust, and with strobe capability.
Rifle Case
It would probably help to know if your buddy has a rifle and a crappier case. But if they do…upgrade them!
The Pelican 1700 ($180) is the gold standard for hard cases with pressure venting, pickable-foam to fit anything, and rolling wheels.
Gun Safe
My go-to safe for my home defense pistol is the Fort Knox FTK-PB ($200). It’s what I suggest to all my friends.
